nice kit, as you said it is pretty standard. i dont think theres anything much better than those uncle bens rice bags. the only thig id throw in would be some powdered milk for the coffee/oatmeal and a few bouillon cubes. beef or chicken, it dont matter, but no mre should be complete without them. they are perfect for a quick warm cup of soup and take up like the same room as a couple sugar packets. maybe even just use the flavor packs from a mr noodles to save room.
