Human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger questions why the Trident vote is being rushed through now, when even hawkish US statesmen like Henry Kissenger oppose it.
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it surely isn't going to be a SAFER place (for us or anyone else) if we renew our nukes - just means evrybody else has to get them too, or expect to be dictated to by the Nuclear Club. Witness the US negotiating with N Korea (who have them) and attcking Iraq (who don't).
Greenpeace is a total false hope, they are paid by oil companies. Thay do the nice job to them!

If the whole world was a nicer place I would agree and vote yes to abolishing nuclear weapons. One small problem - ITS NOT A NICE PLACE.
