but of course, the governemnt's idea is not to prevent crimes from happening, but allow them, and then punish you...
The carrot stick or the whip
The cheese or the electricity
Reward and punishment, that's their idea.
They will let people commit the crimes: go ahead kill, steal, now we have a special place for you to go...
Instead of educating, instead of focusing on prevention... they rather profit... the greed and the lust have taken over their minds...

I know smth about the Montauk Project, the person and sole surviver, Stewart Swerdlow talks about it. He mentions Remote Viewing (ability to see the future) and other crazy things, hard to swallow. There is also the Star Gate Project, which of course the U.S. government strongly denies.
There are people talking about the Pre-Crime thing, (Minority Report), the whole things is ridiculous. You can't be arrested for smth u haven't done... yet

Sorry to spam in-between your replies, but I want to name some things one could look for, talking about the United States: MKULTRA, Project ARTICHOKE, Project Blue Beam
There is still a prize of one million dollar offered for someone who can prove to have "paranormal" abilities. On the other side, a German court has once given an acquittal to someone because he had the ability to see the future (by which he became a suspect in a murder case). See Alois Irlmaier.

I'd like to give my opinion on the Kasparov thing. There were several experiments to manipulate thoughts of people, some of these - although harmless ones - are used in the advertising. The more spectacular ones may indeed have led to possibilities to manipulate or read thoughts.
It's a part of the science of the Soviet Union (and some western nations) which I don't know much about, but officially there were no useful results. Who knows what results have been there inofficially...

Also, evil people see the world as a chessboard, a simple chessboard where all the humans are mere pawns, and sacrificing a few pawns in order to gain more power seems only natural and correct...
It is a sad reality, but the world is not a chessboard as some very power politicians and influencial people seem to believe
no one cares what you think!

Maybe my opinions are bad, but at least three people did care (and thus rate). :-)

Deep thinking about Bobby Fischer and injustice America brought upon him.

Not only against him, but the western nations seem to have lost everything what made me once believe in them. They do things as bad as Stalin did - except they only do so with a few hundred people while Stalin did with millions - see Guantanamo etc. and compare to the GULAGs.
