Acoustic and bass guitar cover of Johnny Cash's song Folsom Prison Blues, all tracks played and recorded live apart from the vocal which didn't sound right so I did it again.

  • YOU SUCK!

  • @9evilnine9 Thanks for the constructive comment, I'm sure you could show me how great you are... oh wait... you've posted a grand total of ZERO videos!

  • I Feel it's a nice version, also like the video effect, all dark except you, like a group on a dark stage, the lights on the members only.

Did you find out the music yourself ? Or is it from sheets ? (always interested in that because I can't read anything myself, I do all on ears and memory).

    Greetings from Holland !

  • @marcmuijzer Thank you! I can hardly read music (apart from bagpipe music) and work it out mostly by ear and watching others play. The video effect was not really planned, I hung up a blue sheet behind me and had a bright light behind the camera. I put the 5 videos on a black background and the blue sheet wasn't visible at all! This is the video I'm happiest with... fewest mistakes!

  • @Pennhill007 I'll check it out... I'm not much of a musician really, just an amatuer wannabe guitarist experimenting with a few very basic recording and mixing techniques!

  • @finlarg I use Apple loops for some video's i make. The Logic Pro Library Software has about 16,000 loops to use copyright free.So since your are a musician i think you could really improvise with all that stuff if you felt inclined to do so. The loops are a good tool to work with.

  • Thank you! It wasn't a broken wrist, I got caught up in a fight between our dog and our neighbours, trying to separate them! I recorded this over a couple of days.

  • Very cool and refreshing.Broken wrist and all.
