Here's Sam saying the "Mahatma Gandhi" line in the original version of Bugs Bunny Rides again. The line was changed to "And I ain't no namby pamby" when the cartoon was re-released after Gandhi's death. Clip taken from WKBD in the early 1980s.

I wish that one episode of Bugs Bunny called "Bonanza Bunny" which is when Bugs is up in Alaska during the Klondike Gold Rush of the late 1800s, was uploaded onto YouTube. Instead of Yosemite Sam, Bugs had another outlaw enemy who was a French-Canadian outlaw by the name Blacque Jacque Shellacque. Bugs is challenged by him for his bag of golden rocks by playing Black Jack. Funny thing is Bugs was up there to dig for carrots and only found golden rocks. That's Bugs Bunny humor for you.
Wow! I have never seen this print with the original dialogue. You'd think WB could have found it when the released this on the LTGC a while back.. Gotta love Sam though since he is always ready to explode!
i dont know if they still make any yosemite sam cartoons, but if they do you can bet this pussyfied media of today took the guns away. this cartoon would now be considered inappropriate. ugh sometimes i hate people.
