Hey man thx for the review for this show... Just wondering if u have saw Fearless 2011 , Uprising 2011 , Way Of The Ronin 2011 , Untouchable 2011 , and Chasing The Dragon 2011. Im seeinng them on Highspots and idk which shows i should get if there worth the money you know.. So let me know man and thx for this review now i can get this show,

@Kstinnett192 , Yeah this is the only show I bought from the new batch of DVD's. I saw Untouchable which was good but I found it disapointing. I would imagine they're all good but some of the shows don't really seem too interesting. I would imagine this DVD Enter The Dragon is the show to pick up.

Also Yamato vs. Austin Aries was a really awesome Open The Freedom Gate Title match, but your generally right about that title being overshadowed by tag matches. I thought Bushido Code of the Warrior was an awesome show, but I watched that on DVD, not ippv, so maybe that made a difference.

@Danespina , Yeah I felt the same way, Code of the Warrior came off much better on DVD. The IPPV stream thing is harder to watch for me. Aries vs YAMATO was great but still I don't think enough people gave it the love it deserved. I'll definitely pick up Freedom Fight when it comes out on DVD.

This would be really cool but will never happen. I wish at the roh/chikara show dgusa comes out and beats up both rosters. That would be epic!

@Kstinnett192 I think you'll find the mania weekend shows more enjoyable then the United weekend. A lot of people say the November shows were their best of the year, so I'm most excited to grab those when they come out.

@Danespina Yea to me the Uprising and Fearless shows even last year as well didnt make me want to get them. Ill will be getting Open The Ultimate Gate 2011. I really gotta catch up on t the 2011 shows. I got all the United shows for Jan and that was the last time i order DGUSA shows lol.

@Trademark629 I wanted to say that aside from the mentioned Yamato and Johnny Gargano who aren't on the show, DGUSA has brought in guys like Sabu and Ar Fox to switch things up, now it looks like Fit Finlay is coming. When they had the chance they brought in Bryan Danielson and Austin Aries. They just brought in Young Bucks again and signed Low Ki as a regular from here on in. In my opinion their roster is always fresh and rotating. As lots mention, Shingo should however be making every show.

@Kstinnett192 A lot of people including myself really liked Open The Ultimate Gate 2011 too, but Tozawa vs. Yamato is a little polarizing. Some people really liked that match and called it a MOTYC, other people didn't think much of it. I'm somewhere in between. While some shows work the opposite way, I feel like Ultimate Gate is a event that works better as a live show rather then a DVD. Still I don't think you'd be disappointed by ordering that one either. I put it over Fearless and Uprising.

Mercury Rising 2011 i was going to get before hand and ima wait to get Enter The Dragon 2011 as well.. How did you feel about Open The Ultimate Gate 2011?

@Trademark629 Haha, yeah I know, its just that I live like 20 minuites from the bridge, and with the nor cal/so cal rivalry its wierd that a show in so cal has the same name as a landmark of the bay area. Its not a big deal or anything, me and friends just thought it was kinda funny, lol.
