What are you running this on? My pc throws in the towel at a few tens of thousands of residents in W7 (could do 500k in win XP for some reason, before the game became unplayable...)

Are there highway links? If yes, how did you get the money to make them?

@Snipertoaster i started the city on tokens sold from farm production, then when I got enough cash tokens I started building large offices and large hitech and got enough tokens from them to build many highway links.

is a beautiful city but how can I have so little town population smaller than yours and have a population of some 9 million

@eddiexcore2 I'm running a very similar system and yet my cities are unplayable at around 1 Million people. One city i built is having trouble at 300,000. The whole screen flickers like a strobe effect and yet the game is still playing underneath it. The screen does not stutter as would normally happen when the graphics is at the limit. I'm told it is a patch problem and hopefully Focus Home Interactive have supplied one. It is something to do with short term memory build up.

great city! But ur rite, its a good idea to use another wealthy city to get rid of farms cus they just ruin the beauty of the city (besides, there arent any farms near or next to new york city) and thats what i exactly did. so now, i went from 7 to 11 million and i think thats its max cus region is like 70% land and 30% water but urs could prolly reach 20 mill at most.
