Hmmm guess I will stop going to that doctor I see on a regular basis for the treatment of "possible" cancer and tell him we are Americans and have to wait until I am on death's door before we do anything about it.

If you are referring to homeless people, how many of them in Ontario have an O.H.I.P. card and see doctors on regular basis? They must all have great teeth as well correct? They avoid the system and therefore medical as well.

Yeah but if you have cancer growing in your body, you only get treatment when you are on death's door and that's too late, you DIE! Same with a heart attack, if you had preventative treatment from the beginning, you could avoid the heart attack. The American system only helps the uninsured, after they are too sick to help. You have to be on death's door before they will help you.

And you assume you know my friends and that they took unmarketable courses? Yes there is a job shortage but it's because American companies pulled out when your economy went sour, putting 20 000 people out of work in this city alone. Now they've had to retrain and take other jobs that my friends may have otherwise had.

In the USA, a homeless penniless person is not "allowed to die" as you seem to think. That is insane. Say a homeless penniless person has a heart attack on the sidewalk.... they get taken to a hospital, treated and referred to a program to help them further. Even if they do not have their O.H.I.P. card! Even if they cannot remember their name. Claims otherwise or baseless and basically inane.
