Hawke began his career in 1982. He first served on Active Duty, in then in Army reserves and in the National Guard. Mykel was a Sergeant First Class (SFC) as a Special Forces Medic (18D), Special Forces Communicator (18E) and Special Forces Operations & Intelligence Sergeant (18F). He currently still serves in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Special Forces Captain (18A) also known as a Green Beret Officer. His most recent combat tour of duty was in Afghanistan as Commander of Mujahideen Forces. He is currently assigned to U.S. Army Special Forces Command (USASFC). He has also served as a contract operator and project manager in many conflicts.
@Boliverianoz Come on, leeches isn't even a threat. They don't carry diseases. If you got bit, then you just have to remove them. There are plenty of easily recognizable herbs to stop the bleeding and disinfect the wound. Those who fear leeches are blind to the real threats in the jungle.

what about bloody leaches. ????? they are plenty in jungle..You cant prepare a shelter on the ground without considering the leaches and other types of insects. They re the real omnipresent enamies in the jungle, not the Leopards, Pythons or Anacondas. I know well because I m an environmentalist working in the tropical rain forests.
