Polyp is gone.. Everything seems to be alright... Vocal folds are slightly red/swollen from the operation, but that will go away with time..

  • I've got a feeling I've got a throat polyp since I've had mucous build-up and coughing for a while. Is surgery a sure thing you suppose?

  • @ghonnyboi If you have a polyp, unfortunately, surgery is the mainstream treatment. :[

  • if i do this surgery do u think it may makes me sing better?

  • @xonlyxjojox Um if you have a polyp and get it removed, your voice will sound much clearer and easier! :]

  • Did you have mucous in your throat by any chance when you had this condition? I have post nasal drip and my voice is a bit hoarse. I thought it was an allery, but I need to go see an ENT soon about it.

  • @ghonnyboi I did have lots of phlegm. I recommend getting checked!

  • The sad thing about getting polyps removed is that while your voice will be back to almost its normal self, it will never be 100% what it was. There will always be something a tad askew from the original alignment of the vocal folds. I'm a guy and I'm very carefully working on my upper falsetto range up to about an A below high C. The moment I feel any twinges of pain or pressure, I stop so it doesn't go too far. Nice, light and easy, but supported, rich and full sounds are great. I'm learning.

  • It looks so much better!!!

  • Holy shit... Demon vagina!!

If you read the title of the video and the description, you would know that they are vocal folds. They're those things in our throats that allow us to produce sound when we speak/sing.
