I understand the R. Pattison hysteria, he is charming, witty. In Twilight, he is serious and intense. The thing is, he is too much of an unreal charachter for me. I was in love in Jacob from the second movie, he could be the guy next door. He has true warmth, he protects, his heart is pure, he loves unconditionally... no matter who I end up with, he will always be that lingering crush... and I don't have it like that with any other charachter.

You know, I would almost feel sorry for Jacob because I do think he's a much better looking guy than Edward (who to me looks like Gollum in a cheap toupee) and is also slightly less of a douchebag than Edward. But it's just pathetic how he lets himself be led around by Bella who is basically the most shallow, self-centered, cocktease of a bitch I've ever seen in any work of fiction. And the whole "imprinting" thing on a newborn in the fourth book is just gross and creepy.
