At first it's so full of pain it's almost hard to watch, but the gesture at the end is so brave and hopeful it's well worth the journey. It's about anger and loss and forgiving, and being a big enough person to take the first step towards repairing something worthwhile that's been broken. The music adds to the dreamy mood, and kudos to the sensitive, subtle young actor. Beautifully done all round. An excellent "Reminder" that deep friendships are to be cherished.
