This advanced form of the Eagle Claw Style (Ying Jaau Faan Ji Mun) is seldom seen or even performed in its entirety due to the level of skill and difficulty required. Though it contains many kicks and several acrobatic movements, the hand techniques cover a wide range of practical striking and grappling techniques.

  • How do you do the double kick in 0:17? I'm guessing you need to really strengthen your quadriceps for it...

  • @ShowMeYaVids Practice and more practice! Its really not that hard but your body needs to get the hang of it.

  • Can i ask what the applications are to 0:17 (the double jumping front kick thing) and 1:31 (the skipping half leg bent kick thing) ?

  • @MartialArts4Ever

The jumping double kick is difficult to perform and really strengthens the waist for normal kicking. As it is the double kick can be applied when grabbing both hands of the opponent and kicking to his chest or even a double knee strike, which then can pull/drag him down rolling backwards to a ground technique.

The other kick comes from behind to strike the opponents groin. It isnt so powerful but does enter easily and very hard to see or perceive.

  • I see big influence of modern wu shu in your performance

  • I never did wushu but I was a gymnast before.

  • This is classical eagle claw as handed down by Lau Fat Man. This is not modern wushu. This 5 leopard fist is very traditional and if anyone who knows will tell you the hardest part is actually the sweeps at :58. Well done.

  • well done, good rhythm and timing overall

  • May i know your lineage please?
