  • @stimulustheband: Wishful thinking it was that obvious, but the edition is correct (as published by Walsh posthumously in 1700.

  • The timing's wrong in this version as well as the tune - the "kiss me ar_" is supposed to coincide with the "s" sound on the end of "once", "twice", and "thrice"

  • Once question; why is the passage 'good claret is my.....' sung one scale degree higher than notated on the score?

  • I love playing this recording for dinner parties. At some point, usually a female asks whats playing, and if they are singing what she thinks is being sung, lol
