Amfibian - Interview / Package

Phish lyricist, Tom Marshal, and his at-the-time-partner, Andy Navarro, gave me a big break as I made the transition from a still photographer to video director. The pair invited me down to the now defunct New York City nightclub, Wetlands Preserve, to interview Tom Marhsall's new outfit, Amfibian, and document the concert. This piece was part 1 in a 5-part series. It also shows a rare on-screen appearance by yours truly when the, project was shot in 2000, conducting the interview. Frontman, Tom Marhsall, guitarist, Scott Metzger, and bassist, Andrew Southern, talk about the newly created band, their music and how Phish ripped them off ("Bug").
