Chapter 149: Papaw's Paddle

Kevin's P.O.V.

"Kevin," Dad sighed.

I took a deep breath as Dad picked up the paddle. I was scared, and I'm not going to deny it. I tried to hide my fear as I walked forward and laid my upper body on the desk.

"You're getting twenty," he said. I nodded.

WHAP!

"OW!" I yelped. That thing stings more than anything I have ever received! I came down a lot harder than I was expecting.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

I was already crying. The new licks, on top of my already sore bottom, hurt so much.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

"DADDY!" I yelled. The pain was horrible. My butt felt like the surface of the sun.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

"IT HURTS DADDY!" I screamed. Thank goodness for soundproof walls.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

I just sobbed. I was in too much pain to do anything else. Dad pulled me up, but had to catch me as my legs gave out. He helped me over to one of the couches he had in here, and laid me down on it...on my stomach.

"You have to watch Kevin," Dad said. I looked up as Dad led a shaking Joe over the desk. He was scared.

Joe's P.O.V.

Kevin's bottom was close to bruising by the time Dad was done. He laid Kevin on a couch, and motioned for me to bend over the desk. He told Kevin that he had to watch my punishment.

"Twenty, Joe," he said. His voice was giving him away. He didn't want to do this, but he had to give me the same as Kevy.

WHAP!..."OW!" I cried. It hurt just as bad as it looked like it did.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

"Daddy," I whimpered.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

I bit my lip hard, squeezed my eyes shut, and screamed into my arm. This pain was soo much worse than any strapping I had ever received.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

"DADDY, IT HURTS!" I screamed...at the very top of my lungs.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

I sobbed, limp over the desk. Dad guided me to the other couch and laid me down. I sobbed into the pillow.

"We're leaving in five minutes," Dad said. I felt him kiss the top of my head. "I love you Joe."

"I l-love y-you to D-Daddy," I cried.

Kevin and I laid down on our stomachs in the two seats on the way to the hospital. We stopped at store to get Nicole something, hopefully she would forgive us.

When we got to the hospital, Kevin and I waited outside for everyone to leave. David and the girls had already left. Mom kissed my cheek as she passed with Frankie. I held my suprise for Nicki behind my back, as did Kevin.

Please, God, let her forgive us.

OMG, I feel so bad for Joe and Kevin. I know they deserved a spanking, but I don't think they deserved that much. At least they were there for each other the first time they got Pawpaw's paddle, and at least Kevin was there for Joe the first time he got the cord. That's the only good thing I see about that situation.
