  • fucking lying cocksucker.

  • howd you like to go out and a have a beer with this cockspring....what a snoozer this guy is. the poor guy is brain-dead. hopefully hes in the early stages of alzheimers.

  • The private health insurance industry has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that they are unwilling to change for the good of the nation. We are talking about human lives here. They have lobbied both state and federal governments so hard that they are running the show. You think the PHI industry WANTS to compete across state lines? Fuck no! I am very sure that if your state opts out, your state will not have to pay for another state's public option. Obsurd!

  • So because you do not accept HF then no one should?

However, WTF does 'happy to accept other reforms" mean? - especially when the public opt will cost me and future generations higher consumer cost and more taxes. The "other reforms" can be added without a 1 trillion $ public opt.

Since there is a need to help the uninsured than create a separate Bill and plan that does not screw with everyone else HC.

  • Number one, I don't believe ANYTHING from the Heritage Foundation. Fears and lies is what they are about, but just for the sake of argument, you should be happy to accept the other reforms. Pre-existing condiitons, etc.

  • You do not know because Senators that have been interviewed said they have not seen the Bill.

    However the Heritage Foundation says:

    1. States could only op-out of the public plan, not of the entire bill.

    2. The federal government would likely require any state wishing to opt-out to still meet federal conditions.

  • The Washington Post just reported that Dozens of House members are under ethics inquiry. Do we really trust these people to get anything right for us. This is just a political ploy to get control and it is wrong. We need to reform congress first. Pelosi said she was going to drain the swamp I think the drain is clogged.

  • NO, the states will not have to pay taxes for the states that are in the reform plan.

This "opt out" provision should be music to the Republican's ears! Their states don't have to be part of this reform. They are all about "states rights" and "small government", right? . This should be a dream come true! If it passes, let's see those red states put their money where their mouth is!

  • Are you serious? Our private healthcare insurance system is not broken? You obviously have not submitted a major claim. Those that say they are happy with their insurance have NOT submitted a major claim, that I can guarantee you.

  • Government should stay out of our health care. They have failed with Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. Why do they think they can reform something that isn't broken.

We have the best hearth care in the world...if it's not broke DON"T FIX IT!
