@the0scarlet0piper He doesn't undermine it; he just starts a discussion about it (I personally like it; it makes the video more informative). It also helps get through the reflex of 'oh, this card's amazing', and think of EVERY possibly card (to make a better choice).

You were not at a PTQ that had a beta rochester draft, I call BS on that. Drafting really started with Mirage, the Pro Tour scene wasn't until around 4th edition.
Their have been some side events with Beta drafting, but no large event has ever been done were you could open Black Lotus.
