"Now...Tell me what everyone is dieing to know." I look at her a bit confused. "Hello You and Joe! I mean knew something was going on but no one else did."
"Everyone would want to know?" I asked almost in a weird way for how everyone would want to know 2 peoples private life.
"Well I mean Joe hasn't been dating, he hasn't even really been pursuing anyone in a long time. Its very rare, and a lot of girls try but nothing. That's why some of the girls that were watching...," She looks at me with a grin making me feel special in away, "were jealous..."
"Really?" she nods as she watches the road.
"So...go on tell me what really happened last night?" her tone of voice made me smile, it was like she was teasing me. "Well first of all do you really like Joe?" I nod not even thinking about it, even I realize that I did really have something for him, I didn't know yet but I know it was something. "It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it." I shake my head but I realize that she couldn't look at my gestures, I had to speak...
"I don't know..." I pause to the thought, it was much more harder for me to express myself verbally, since I've never showed myself in that way as much. "I mean I like him." She nods listening, it made me feel so much better to know she actually was, even cared. I felt like in the center they were required to listen to us... "but, it's a different like..." she smiles, almost like she knew and understood my own feelings better then me. "I can't explain it...because I don't know how to."
"Seems to me you really really like him... I can tell he really really likes you too," I look out the window, I didn't know what happened to me but I became all giddy inside. Like I just wanted to scream, to express what I feel. "Joe's a great guy Demi."
"I just..." I didn't know how to talk to Selena, I've never had to deal with boys, or the fact I barely had close friends in the center.
"Come on, its me were like bestfriends, or sisters, you can trust me." I look at her as she looks at me quick smiling genuinely. I really did see Selena as a sister, she's truly been watching over me even if she didn't notice.
"I don't know what to do, or what this is, I've never dealt with a boy before. To one I like at that. I feel like a clueless girl. Even when I kissed him last night I felt like I didn't know what I was doing at first-"
"He was your first kiss?" she almost squeals to her last words. I shake my head a bit as she giggles rolling her window down.
"Yea..." I could feel my cheek warm up remembering his lips. "All these emotions I'm feeling right now is overwhelming. I feel so lost since any normal teenage girl would know everything in my situation."
"No...maybe they know more but they never know everything. Just be clueless, I think its better to just go with things and not know. Sometimes knowing to much of something can ruin it as well. Just be yourself, that's what Joe likes about you." We both laugh a bit... She was right, wouldn't a person make you feel like something was wrong if you did something wrong... wouldn't they show any sign if they wanted to change, if they didn't you must be perfect the way you are for them....
