From Victor Bortko's miniseries of Dostoyevsky's The Idiot (available from many sellers in the form of a region free DVD set).
This is part of my rather inane attempt to clean up the region free DVD's wonky subtitles. Most of the subs are more or less intact, and in places where the translation was practically undecipherable, I used the Pevear/Volokhonsky translation as a reference tool. (To be honest, the chances of me actually completing this little project are small, and if anyone knows of a decent set of subs for the series that already exists, I won't even feel obliged to continue.)
Well, obviously it's not the whole of his story, but I enjoyed the visualization.

Hi, thank you for uploading this video and for your work, I deeply enjoyed hearing Ippolit's story once again. I hope Pevear and Volokhonsky end up translating the rest of Dostoevsky's works, but at least his greatest works have already been translated by the amazing duo.
