The essence of the Japanese values -- Yamato-no kachi tonaeru machi -- hm... I think they'd rather secede from Japan to become the Great Nagoya Empire, with the Tokugawa dynasty as its emperor and Toyota Motors as its flagship corporate sponsor.

Nice... ex-Nagoya here (now in Kyushu). Great stuff.

Hey,
I got accepted to Nagoya University and believe me this is the best guide that I ever saw about Nagoya. You gave every aspect of the city in this song. Thank you very much.

Wow this is so moving if you've been to Nagoya. I lived there for more than a year and looking back I feel so connected to this city. Everything you mentioned in the video is so typical for Nagoya. I probably have visited all 5 Yabatons in the area (incl. airport ;)), I wonder if they have opened up another one?! I've gotta say I prefer the meitetsu and the esuka store over the first one in Yabacho.
Oh I just found out that theres another on in Sakae, wow!
You've done an amazing job, really!

I never ate at the airport I reckon, gotta go there as well :P
Anyways thanks for the compliment :)

Hey thank you so much! I lived in Nagoya for a year and your video is really great!! It reminds me so many good moments...
Maybe you should take a feminine voice to sing the chorus: "Nagoya Nagoyaaaaaaa" , and this song could quickly become a hit in the region! For now, we shared it in France and people do appreciate ;)

Merci beacoup :)
Yeah unfortunately there arn't too many japanese speaking singers
up here in Sweden :P but I might make a version with a female singer when I find one :) Say salut to France from me!

i've lived in Nagoya for 25 years. The Nagoya dialect is sometimes criticized for its rudeness or boldness by people in other prefectures. Your song has a great impact much enough to attract people in Japan and overseas.
