@HConstantine Its his schtik - doesn't make up for the lack of non-remarkable and rather sloppy playing, though. Look for the same piece as played by Monique Haas.

@HConstantine not wearing a suit is part of what he's trying to achieve - he's trying to take the formality and expectations out of classical music and make it more accessible to the public who find this kind of thing off-putting - learning to appreciate the music for what it is :)

this is a great piano video - the playing is remarkable in the many ways others have described - but the video shoot is also excellent with the close-ups of the hands - thanks for posting. I have watched this many times.
