@cipher10000 You should read Foundation by Isaac Asimov, I believe it is in Foundation and Earth where the protagonist discusses the division of language on earth, much more logical than 'God did it'. In essence Komikero is right, language is nought but a tool, and tools are devised out of necessity, not prior design.
