The tune that brought Renee Walker into the Charts in the Summer of 1996!(THANX, JANIS!!!) Still a HIT @theRWB shows! Sony Columbia Frankfurt kind a needed to unfortunately cut some extreme losses, and used Renée as a write off for bigger losses (we will recall Michael Jackson´s History Double Album and Canceled Tour´s of that year)...Plus, there seemed to be some intern elbowing and Profiling going on as well...as it was, so did Renée & Mercedes Benz land in Warehouses in Countries outside of Germany...and not with the fans if they didn´t get one right away...they had no chance. And that at the "HIGHT of HER YOUNG SPUDDING CAREER!" after all...breakin in with a CHARTS entry! No amount of correspondence (fan letters) or protest managed to help... Thankfully we were released shortly thereafter from all contracts...THE reason Renée has avoided Major´s the past decade and chosen to remain independent. Alot has changed in the Industrie and has spawned a "NEW HOPE" that -this time- a Major deal could finally catapult this genuine rockin´woman into the -Big League-. www.myspace.com/thereneewalkerband

Holy Crap! Can't believe I came across this. I used to follow Renee from gig to gig about 20 years ago in Heidelberg. Still jammin...good for you! What ever happened to Bo-Bo? ;-)

Well,20 years ago, is ALMOST possible! hahaha! had my first band in 1991 in Heidelberg!LOL! joined an established band which, "became" renee walker&the Kickback.& then, re-gouped with new members&became, the Renee Walker Band in 1995.haha! So, you must have been listening to "the Kickback"!or maybe, George Williams´s Blues Power Band(the very first band I "officially" sang in in Germany, in 1990!)!

As for being,"still@it".I couldn´t "STOP", if I tried...really hard!!! Born for the Music, Slave to the Rhythm! BoBo,(my cat), unfortunately, caught an extremely, rare swamp disease, from the Elsenz & passed away 13years old, in 1998.
