Taking a break from their adventures, Mario and Luigi went to Dinosaur Island for a vacation. However, while vacationing, Princess Peach Toadstool was again kidnapped by Bowser. While searching for her, the two came across a large egg. It quickly hatched, and out came a small dinosaur named Yoshi, telling of how Bowser had trapped he and his friends inside eggs. Together, Yoshi and the Mario brothers set out to defeat Bowser.

NOTES ADDED LATER:
- Because people keep sending messages and such about it, I think I should clarify: I was exaggerating about the Black Knight thing. Yes, I think that the idea that Sonic in medieval England is awesome. Yes, Sonic with swords is not as bad an idea as most people are saying. However. "Best. Idea. Ever." was my initial reaction, not my actual thoughts. Listen more. I will add that the idea would be more awesome if it was just the Sonic in medieval England bit, but with no sword. I apologize for once again not being clear on what I'm saying.
