Health researchers at UT Arlington are using a nearly $900,000 federal grant to find ways to improve the connections between nurses and social workers before they meet in the health care workplace. Organizers from the College of Nursing and School of Social Work recognized a need to educate social work and nursing students to work collaboratively, something they say improve patient outcomes.
