Gran canaria is the best place in the world i was there when the fire was going on the tempeture was 50 degrees!!! I was staying in maspalomas and it was boiling hopfully going there again soon!.

Omg I was on holiday when this happened..I was in puerto Rico though and i think it was like 1 week in..all the ash was flying over us..i remember walkin out onto my balcony n lookin round n all i cud see was people sweepin their balconies, I heard people lost there houses in this fire because an act got cancelled because he was near the fire..poor people x[ . I'm goin bk nxt yr..hopefully it won't happen again. Luv Gran Canaria it's such a lovely place.

this is where ive come from.... it was very sad... when i discovery it.. i was still living in ireland... (and still here) and u have no idea how i cried out seeing all these pics.... ill never forget it...

ive just been there on holiday, (actually got back a couple of hours ago) and we had been b4 in 2004 or 2005 and i didnt know they had had a fire and me and my mum were at palmitos (sp?) park and we were walking round and we were thinking it looks different from a few years ago and then when you get so far round it tells you about it and there a pictures of the fire and it has recovered so much from the fire the whole island has.

I used to live there in Playa del Cura... loved it and cant remember why the heck I ever left. I miss it. :-(

Endre93, r u shure is borring to live in gran canaria?. Is moore borring living where u at so very cold and borring and a pure depresssion, such all da year is cold . by da way...if my land is so boring as u told why da scandinavian shuold come here, cuz r they masochistic?
