Paul Chek describes Primal Patterns® as an essential movement patterns that are required for survival in one's natural habitat. Aram and Ruben share their thoughts on why is it important to include them in your workouts.
I heard that walking could not be split in smaller movement patterns, but had to be learned in whole. Is that right? Will this also be true for running? And what is striding?
In Somatics there are exercises for feeling the muscles fo gait ind the legs and torso. There you start with the shoulderblade, then progress to the spine and the work with the opposite glutes / posterior legs. But maybe the pattern is triggered as whole with emphasis on those parts for feeling.
