Ailish-- gotta tell you, its a pretty silly movie. most of these characters werent believeable as late teens/20 yr olds living on the edge. alyssa as a prostitute? it was awful. "hey, wanna date?" i like the movie, but for novelty's sake. sean astin as a speed freak was cool, though. i wish he were in "spun", which is a much better movie, imo.

I saw this movie about 12 years ago. Only once, and I still remember it clearly. One of the most haunting films I have ever seen, and absolutely beautiful. However, it's not nearly as light as the trailer makes it out to be. It's actually quite dark, focusing on the plight of teenage runaways, who can't escape from where they are.
Phenomenal film, but beware... it will haunt you long after the credits roll.
