@kernelpnc If you really want to know what the music is In the past I've used midomi dot com to detect a piece by putting a the microphone up to the speakers while the music is playing. It's usually pretty damn amazing at detecting it. I'd do it for you but I can't find my mic atm. Good luck.

xmonad IS AWESOME!! I'm not a developer. Just a regular Ubuntu user.. well. A long time ago I saw the xmonad episode of The Linux Action Show, I installed xmonad. and I've been living here since. I love that the horsepower is going to whatever I'm doing, instead of going to some crazy gnome3 or unity cpu/memory-hog.
Keep rocking, Keep developing and my eternal gratitude.
