Crazy Taxi Driver cuts off Cyclists

*warning strong language*

Riding along Gold Coast Highway a taxi driver with a car load of passengers cuts us off, resulting in my fall. An unknown rider confronts the driver and rides off. The driver leaves before we could get the license. I was too dazed and shocked at what happened to understand and react fully.

After being in contact with Gold Coast Cabs, they are taking the appropriate disciplinary procedures, in accordance with company policy and do not condone the driving practice of this driver or the other 15 or so dangerous drivers that night.

@Darkc0w a bus lane can be used for buses, taxis and cyclists, the bus up ahead meant that he had to slow down anway and the 2 other lanes are free. The noise you hear at 57 seconds is one of the passengers hitting the window. You can see his hand move just after.

I'd love to know, did you report this guy to the police and did anything happen? I was just discussing this video with a friend and my guess was that police, reflecting the popular community view, would not give a rat's arse about a cyclist getting run off the road by a guy in a 1 tonne vehicle. We're all good sport for those in cars. Love to hear your response.
