Santa Monica Airport Assaulting Venice with Abusive Plane Departures #12 (12-31-2010)

Keeping the record straight - #12. The loud prop and jet planes from Santa Monica Airport are coming at a furious pace - everyday.

There are 10 planes in this 9 minute clip. A random "walk out and video it" sample on December 31st, 2010 at 11:20 to 11:29am. The "assault" is still going on, with an average of a plane a minute, and frequently 2 a minute.

Venice, CA puts up with abusive numbers of prop and jet departure traffic from Santa Monica Airport - like this and more, every day. 16 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Santa Monica Airport is out of control. SMO aka "Little LAX" is abusing residents of Venice, California (it's neighbors) and causing an environmental disaster in terms of noise pollution.

This is not a rare occurrence, nor the worst. This is just a sample of what goes on everyday. This is considered average.

It's time to do something about SMO's 'reign of terror.'
