My experience has been that feeling is there prior to thought. It is consciousness and derives from everywhere. Through the base, soles, palms, heart, crown, sex, diaphragm... From what I see... I feel all this gather and coalesce into my presence. The intent builds into this energy along with thought as a result of what I'm taking in. It just naturally penetrates, and transforms with the object of intent. This happens at work, at prayer, as well as in meditation.

You are right about meditating in the dark herukhuti. Meditating is one of the three main ways your dark energies gets replenished. Sleep, and the snake/sexual yoga are the other two ways.
