  • Hey I was wondering the same thing, I'm thinking of buying the 701 kit and putting an o-200 on in since I already have the eng. Would you recommend this?

  • The Continental's a good engine, but heavier than recommended for the 701. Look at Zenith's STOL CH750 for the O-200 engine.

  • Very beautiful to see that from the air. I liked seeing the huts you flew over too. Since the VNE is 110 on this plane, and I noticed you flying at 118 mph, did you do anything different to this airframe or does the standard airframe allow one to consistently fly at this speed. What HP engine was able to get you to fly at that speed? Most are supposed to cruise at 98 with the Rotax 100 HP at 8,000 ft TAS.
