Batey is not in Haiti... Please, post something else about that, because Batey is in Domincan Republic, where they keep Haitian families in a so-called slavery to work in sugar cane fields.

@Gaity100 ok well whats the correct haitian word for what this place is? this was a 100% haitian village that needed our help with medical attention which is why i was there in the first place. we werent near any sugar cane fields but actually on the banks of the Etang Saumâtre.
