Yeah there is no way of Disarming him. You have no Choice but to Kill him. As For me, I murdered his wife, and his brother just to make it even. I Punched the old woman into the Lake and I dragged his brother through the field until he died on top of some prickly pears, and then I went and drilled Ross with the High Powered Pistol and if that don't beat all I also took 408 Dollars from him too.

Its intresting to dig deeper into the thought of the story. At the end when the game gave me control of Jack, I thought this was where I had always been, standing alone at the graves of the only people that I cared for and loved. In a sense, it was never 1911, you were never John Marston, and the west was never dieing, it was always 1914, you were always Jack, and the story you played was Jack's perception of his father.

My Ending Fanfic

Edgar Ross returns to the camp sight only to find his brother murdered in cold blood. The horse shoe prints were familiar to Ross, he recalls the Horse that John rode years ago before he executed him.

He returns to his cabin 4 days later only to find the same horseshoe prints in the fresh dirt. His eyes widen and runs to the porch where his wife knitted, but found a maggot riddled woman that was once his wife.

Jack hears the wind screaming justice; Ross too is alone.
