The view down Yosemite Valley was astounding. Just as impressive though was the massive hail storm we drove into only a few minutes later. The ground was covered in white. This was in August(!), and we were in summer clothes. (In August '06, over two dozen scouts and leaders from Boy Scout Troop 14 from New Hartford, NY traveled to Yosemite, Reno, and San Francisco in the trip of a lifetime.
