  • Not quite good enough to get into one of the major music acadamies then. Faryl a winner at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. Invited back this year for the opening gala concert. Performed 3 times at the RAH. Will duet next month with Carreras at Hampton Court. Has a schedule of concert appearances up and down the country. £2.3m record contract. 10 weeks in top10 classical charts. 6 at number 1. Fastest selling debut album ever. Not bad for a "loser". What is your CV? Do tell me.

  • lovely. a truly outstanding opening to the show. 5 stars!

  • @xxEvangelineRxx It is "River of Light".

  • Is it "River of Light" or "River of Dreams"? That's...confusing.

  • She is so awesome! What a talent! God bless you,Faryl!

  • Darn it. Why am I just now hearing about this girl. True, she was on "Britian's Got Talent" and I am in America. But I feel so remiss at having missed her debut...

  • Truly wonderful. Perfect blend of HER and THAT SUBLIME SONG!

  • @bb4aa In this video Faryl is 13 years old. Now I think that that makes her still a child.

  • I come from Austria where the melody of this song is coming from: "An der schönen blauen Donau" (The Blue Danube Waltz) of Johann Strauss. Nice to hear it with text sung by a good singer.

Faryl is good but I like Jackie Evancho more (although she is younger). The advantage of Faryl is that she is already a young lady while Jackie is a child (but sings as an old professional, which contrast very hard).

  • this is absolutely amazing. and that voice :) WOW

  • Great job for such a young kid! =0)

  • Well, I learned something new today. I never knew the very famous, The Blue Danube Waltz, by Johann Strauss II had lyrics set to the music.
