It takes very long time for a Plecostomus to grow. In nature, they can grow up to over 60 cm, and be over 40 years old. You obviously know nothing about your fish. Your malawi's are (don't know what it's called in english) flock-fish. That means they thrive a lot better if there are more of them. The males need some females to chase, and having more males together, will bring up the colors a lot more. But sooner or later, you will find out, that the tank is too small.

ive just put my 600ltr malawi tank on can ppl please coment good or bad, cheers (daledgend1981) by the way nice background

@DomiiKing I agree. I'd say a minimum of 250 litres for Mbuna, and more for the haplochromis, aulonocara, and predators. But he'll find out that it's too small, when they mature, they will kill eachother in that small tank, no room for territories..

120 liters for malwis? i think it´s too small :(
