THE BRA BOYS - THE DOCO - AND THE RUSSELL CROWE

Russell Crowe was a great force behind the Bra Boys doco getting the attention it's getting - and deserves.
He narrates the whole thing and had a hand in helping developing the story arc from start to finish and trust me - Crowe knows his stuff. I teared up at the end. There are rounds of applause at screenings.

The Bra Boys are a surf tribe from Maroubra who are tattooed with their postcode - 2035. They have been subjected to a fair amount of attention from law enforcement and in spite of having a great view of Long Bay Jail, these street kids have grown up and are doing some positive things for the youth of the Maroubra community instead of heading off to prison.

Hell - don't believe what anyone tells ya about the movie - go and see it yourself. I think it's a winner.

Honestly, These guys are a bunch of low life losers. Don't feel sympathy for them, They have each other's backs but also deal drugs which has nothing to do with having each others backs and defending against rival gangs. And I have seen the documentary, Bunch of bullshit with a lot of editing to make themselves look good and tough. I'd love to see these guys up against the Yamaguchi-gumi/Yakuza or the Solntsevskaya bratva/Russian Mob, And you'll realize the bra boys are pussies.
