Winter sure was long but now it's gone
The dog shit's thawing on the lawn
The smells of springtime ain't the sweetest, but they're welcome anyway
The sidewalk's rough, six months of sand under my feet
I'll hold your hand
I'll see you smile
I'll hear you laugh
and I'll feel like singing

Buskers out on the corner
