Retro 50s makeup with a modern twist

This is my adaptation of one of my favourite looks of all time- pin up/ retro/ 50s makeup.
A neutral eye with a lightly defined brown crease, groomed eyebrows and true red lips a la Marylin Monroe.
However, I decided to give it a modern twist by using bright orange lipstick (MAC- Vegas Volt)(although it unfortunately came out more red in the photos) and added some funky spiky modern eyelashes.
If you so wish you could also spice this look up by using a dark burgundy lipstick such as those featured in MAC's Cult of Cherry and seen on countless runways, thereby updating this classic with the addition of Autumn's hottest trend ;).

Love the look, what hair color is it? I have dark brown hair and am looking to change it a reddish hue. TNX!

I use L'oreal in 5.3 which is a reddish brown shade, it comes in the red box with the colour and highlights :). Hope this helps!

I think I used dazzlelight, gesso and bamboo or quarry all from MAC :) Hope this helps!
