Lions Head Chalice Well Gardens Glastonbury

http://www.think-differently-about-sheep.com The Lions head is the place within the chalice well gardens in Glastonbury were it is safe to drink the water from the well. It is believed by many that the water of the Red spring has healing properties and many visit to partake of the waters of this ancient spring which rises from Glastonbury Tor. There is another outlet of the spring for drinking purposes in Well House Lane where there is also an outlet for drinking water from Glastonbury's second spring the White spring on the opposite side of the road. The chalice well gardens is a peaceful place in which to quietly sit and contemplate/meditate or simply be peaceful.
