DIY (Do it yourself) CamLight:
I made a camlight for my Sony DCR-HC96 using a 12V Lead-Acid Battery and Osram Decostar IRC lamps. Here is a test of following lamps:
20W 10
20W 36
20W 60
50W 10
50W 24
50W 36

I also compare this lamps with the Sony HVL-HIRL
You can find details on my blog.

  • Hallo,

habe die Kamera auch. Was hast du als Fassung für die Halogen-Lampe genommen, und wie ist du das ganze mit dem Griffstück verbunden?

Schade dass die website off ist, ich könnte dir noch auf meinem Server "Asyl" geben...

  • what is the bar called that it is on

  • unless someone comes up with an alternative,lead-acid is the cheapest most reliable power supply around at the moment,

i myself use anything from a home made 12V/24V 5.6Ah/2.8Ah battery belt to a 65Ah 12V rig supply, but hey what ever floats ya boat..lol
