unless someone comes up with an alternative,lead-acid is the cheapest most reliable power supply around at the moment,
i myself use anything from a home made 12V/24V 5.6Ah/2.8Ah battery belt to a 65Ah 12V rig supply, but hey what ever floats ya boat..lol
