Hey Guys,

I offer a few ideas on how to deal with those pesky fruit flies when brewing kombucha tea.

Also, thanks for being patient as I'm learning to edit and make the videos a little more user friendly.. this one is the best so far, but stay tuned for more to come :)

Happy Brewin',
Dave

  • Haha, you're totally corny, but great tip! Thanks so much!!

  • Thanx sooooo much... This will help when I get my Brewer!!!

    Love, njoy

  • Thank you for the tip! I just started brewing and wasn't aware of the potential fruit fly invasion. Will be sure to use your suggestion.

  • Another tip would be to put a little dishsoap in the kombucha or vinegar you have in the glass the soap breaks the surface tension and they actually drown you wouldnt even need the funnel. :)

  • Good info- I like your style of presentation!

    Keep up the good work!

I only started brewing a month ago and haven't had horrendous fly problems yet, but now I know what to do, if necessary. Thanks a lot!

  • i love the arts and crafts section of the video.

  • Handsome Dave.

  • Yep, nice shirt. Going to try the funnel as...I have fruit flies. I'll let you know how that goes.

  • Nice tips. Goodbye fruit flies!
