Philippines 2006 -- Ferry Ride to Bantayan Island

Suyen and I went on vacation in Cebu from 16 to 30 April 2006. Here are some of the sights and sounds from our trip.

On our third day, we drove up the east side of Cebu Province to Hagnaya, to catch the ferry to Bantayan Island.

yes nice place and very nice to stay,but very poor ship ,even the crew are not safety,working on deck without wearing a helmet.me nakahubad pa during mooring operation,this ship is a floating coffin.dapat walang tao jan sa rampa when they heaving or slacking out.safety first before anything else.

try nyo pumunta sa bantayan...friendly mga tao dun..tga doon ako..marami pang mga isla dun..

@lkppheui I love Bantayan,very safe place...I love the Chinese restaurant in the town of Bantayan.

I just wish the airport would open again for flights from Lahug,Cebu City again to Bantayan island.

@holaysan About time they have WIFI at Octong Beach Resort...

Been there several times when go to Cebu as wife comes from Maalat nearby to Madridejos.

Octong Beach Resort is great day out for relaxing and the pool is great.

i miss bantayan and my family there,im jonnah but very proud of my filipino heritage try 2 visit n bantayan..beatiful island and white sand.

try to visit Ogtong Cave Resort. They have WiFi now.
