@RTadzB SIDI still get's smoked by the 4L. So what they make 215hp at 6500rpm (when it needs to change gears, herp derp) compared to our 195 at 4300 rpm. The falcon produces more torque at lower rpm's, the falcon has better fuel usage in both urban and hi-way, the falcon is also lighter. Must I keep going on?

FPV GT 0-100 is 6.4sec

Holden SS is 5.6

HSV R8 is 5.0

Manual SS is $21,000 cheaper than the manual GT and 0.8 of a second faster...It's really strange how it can be that much slower.

the scary thing is that Ford here are talking about the Falcon having a turbo 4 in the future.. 190 kw but still... not a falcon. Call it something else, because traditional falcon buyers will steer clear in droves, and small car buyers won't buy a falcon...

thats the idea... to develop practical performance cars i.e. 4 doors. The F6 would demolish the mustang line-up as well only the Ford GT (US) would beat it.

Don't get me wrong , i love the GT & Other HSV V8's , they look & sound tough,

but the F6 is pure WEAPON !!

And when ur only cruising , can still deliver 8.5 lit / 100 kms !!

Fuck ! that's only margially more than a family V6 & you got 270 KW on tap (310 in the FG) when u need it !

Yeah, but we don't have much else interesting, unless you count the forthcoming Fusion and Taurus as great cars. At least despite the easy and smooth lines of Australian Fords, at least you all get RWD sedans and such. Aggressive-looking machines despite their subtlety, only without overdoing it. And have you seen the next Mustang? It looks too soft for my tastes (though still a nice car).
