Beautiful ending to a beautiful mission. I saw this flight lift off in person and it was the most spectacular thing I've ever seen. A friend of mine was at the runway and said it was a very emotional moment seeing her come back, as it was believed (at the time) that Atlantis would not fly again.

@IamtheDoctor94 That was not known at the time. STS-135 was still STS-335 (LON mission) and the funding situation was unclear.

@rlt152 It is but it is yet funded. STS-134/Endeavor is the only remaining flight with funding appropriated.

and the only space ship that doesn't only look functional, but cool also.
Apollo was okay though.
ISS looks like a tin can that would break if you breathed on it.
