I had intended to make this video ever since Order of the Pheonix came out on DVD, but I never got around to it until recently. I could have made it a little better, but I think it came out pretty well. A word of caution though, after watching this you might find it hard to take Voldemort seriously for a while.

@lozzieadams I used Sony Vegas 8 Pro (though this could have been made with the regular edition). I mainly sped up and slowed down the clips to help the lip syncing along. Getting the timing right was pretty difficult: I generally had to make several cuts per shot to fine tune the speed.

@iwantedtoexplode Your video is seriously cool. Do you think you could do something similar with iMovie or Final Pro Cut?

@lozzieadams It's certainly possible, though I'm not a huge fan of either one. Vegas is way more intuitive. I have a Mac, but I created a Windows partition almost exclusively so I could use this program. Final Cut Pro has just as much functionality as Sony Vegas, if not moreso, but it's way pickier about file types and it takes longer to do simple things. It's what the professionals generally use though, so it's definitely a good program. By all means, use it if you have it.
