when does this take place in naruto? its after naruto learns resengan and sasuke already seen resengan and didn't leave?! im cofused, when does this take place!!

the special episodes don't really follow the storyline (they do but just not completely). your right that this can't be according to the storyline because the first time sasuke saw the rasengan was in the fight against naruto and he left the village on the same night/

Is naruto the only one that cares about this? Shikamaru only wants to sleep. Choji and his dad are just eating. Ino lost hers in a battle with sakura. Those two guys with the books say they dont have enough time. Gaara just doesnt want to participate. Lee and Gai are busy hugging crying and being gay. Neji just wants to see how good he is against a teacher (even though the teacher guy keeps running cuz hes scared) and Jaraiya is busy being a perv! Yet naruto doest have any other crystal yet!

lol they're all doin' it for a reason (shikamaru and gaara think it's a drag, choji is hungry, ino and sakura just wanna fight and see whos stronger, neji wants to prove himself he's stronger than a chunin, gai and lee wanna hug cuz they're gay and naruto wants to be hokage and this is his only chance)

In the ep they don't show who but if u played the game, the final battle is kakashi vs naruto. naruto gives everything he has but he faints and then kakashi gives up so naruto wins...

This is "non-canon", which means it does NOT follow the storyline, that is why the deceased characters exist here, just like the Naruto Olympics, which was non-canon to the story.
